HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

I woke up this morning to peace, quiet, my dog snuggled next to me.  My husband was home this morning but I never heard him get up and leave.  The kids were home, but I wasn't even sure if they were awake yet.  It was a wonderful way to start off my Mother's Day as I am not a morning person.  I took a few minutes to wake up and then text my husband I was awake.  We've been married almost 17 years now and I knew he had planned to make me breakfast in bed, but was waiting until I woke up.  So I thought I'd help him out by letting him know.  ;)  A few minutes later I could hear the rustle in the the kitchen.  I turned on some tv and relaxed while I caught up on my shows.  Soon enough my sweet daughter came in to ask what from the "menu" I'd like to "order" to drink.  Mimosa it was!  YUM!  Then she gave me a huge list of things I could have for breakfast, omelet, bacon, potatoes, cinnamon rolls, toast.  Wow!  I have it so good, my husband made all my favorites!  They brought it up to me with huge smiles on their faces and cheered, "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!"  The breakfast was so delicious and I am stuffed.  They also gave me all sorts of goodies; lotions, lip balm, bath stuff, and a gift card to get my nails done.  I am so lucky to be in this house with my three favorite people.   And I am so lucky to have them!  My husband is beyond wonderful and my kids are so kind and loving.  Did your kids surprise you with anything yummy this morning?
