I have been fortunate to photograph Lauren several times.  She is always so fun and adorable!  Now that Lauren is a senior this year, I had the privilege of photographing her senior portraits.  Seniors are busy, so finding a time during the golden hour can be a challenge.  Between college visits, senior year dances and so forth we found the perfect fall day to visit Loose Park off Wornall Road in Kansas City.  And after we finished there we headed to Lee's Summit.  If you live in Lee's Summit I am sure you have visited Hartman Memorial Park of Pryor Road.  My kids and I love to take the puppies there to play in the creek.  I have always thought it was a beautiful location but had not had the opportunity to photography anyone there.  The challenge is one, water and safety for any little ones and also to get to the water is a bit of a hike and you have to almost climb down a steep ledge.  Lauren and her mom, Stacey, were troopers.  And I think the hike and climb were definitely worth it.  This space is the perfect backdrop to highlight Lauren's natural beauty.
