These days most people want to have their portrait sessions on location. I do however have a studio in my home for the occasional studio session. Studio sessions are great when it's wet, winter, and early spring before everything begins to grow back. While October is my busiest month, there are milestones happening year round. So since it had been a few months since I've used the studio it was in desperate need of a clean up. The task was daunting, but luckily my daughter, Isabel, agreed to help out, which lightened the load tremendously and made it fun! In exchange for her help I agreed to do a mini photo shoot with her and her American Girl Doll, Elizabeth. We also used Elizabeth as a test subject for the cake smash session I had coming up!
Now you might be wondering who is this Elizabeth? Well let's ask Isabel ....
Me: Isabel who is Elizabeth?
Isabel: Elizabeth is a sweet girl, her favorite subject in school is science. And she is very adventurous and loves to hop right into things. Elizabeth also has a pet dog named Princess.
Me: Where did you get Elizabeth?
Isabel: I got her from my grandma for Christmas.
Me: What do you like most about Elizabeth?
Isabel: Let me think . . . that she is always up for anything she can do with her family.
Me: Are you and Elizabeth a like in any ways?
Isabel: We both have brown eyes, brown hair and our favorite thing to do is go to the park with our pets.
Me: Anything else you'd like to add?
Isabel: She is the youngest out of my 3 American Girl Dolls. I have Samantha, Isabelle and Elizabeth.
We hope you enjoy our American Girl Doll Portrait Session with Isabel and Elizabeth!
Who's that blond American Girl doll you ask? Oh yeah, we forgot to mention, we did some test shots with Isabelle (The American Girl Doll) for the cake smash. Isn't she a doll!
